The Clean Energy Supply Sector is rapidly becoming a cornerstone of the Australia-India bilateral relationship. With both nations aspiring to be renewable energy superpowers, the potential for collaboration through clean energy is immense.
Australia, endowed with abundant solar, wind, and critical mineral resources, is on track to become the ‘battery of the world.’ Meanwhile, India’s remarkable strides toward achieving 50% renewable energy by 2030 open up significant opportunities for Australia in policy, investment, technology, and materials development.
I’m thrilled to share that Vimco Solar & Global Greens Aus had the privilege to be a part of in IESW 2024, where we explored the Indian market alongside five outstanding NSW cleantech companies. It was an incredibly rewarding experience, filled with insightful discussions and promising prospects for future collaborations.
A heartfelt thank you to the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) & India Energy Storage Week (IESW) for including us in this initiative. The depth of conversations and the potential opportunities that emerged from the event are truly exciting. Looking forward to the future of renewable energy and the continued growth of our Australia-India partnership.
